Intel® Adaptix™ technology is a collection of four free software tools, three of which assist your customers in achieving outstanding performance from their PCs.1 They use machine learning algorithms and advanced power controls to optimize processor and graphics settings.1
It’s important for your sales team to understand these software tools in order to relay to customers the significant value and benefits they add to applicable PCs powered by Intel® processors.
Here’s a brief overview of the Intel® Adaptix™ technology tools.
Intel® PM runs a set of intelligent tests on a PC to determine its safe overclocking potential based on the processor’s individual performance DNA.1,2 Then all the customer needs to do is accept the customized recommended settings for easy overclocking.2
Sales associates can assure customers that they don’t have to be hardware gurus to take advantage of the overclocking capabilities.2 This tool will be particularly interesting to your enthusiast customers who are usually more interested in a PC’s performance and overclocking capabilities rather than its price.1,2
This tool adds a stylish graphics control panel that uses visual guidance to help users easily tune game and media features. Customers can optimize games, configure monitor and video settings, and more.1
This capability allows gamers, home entertainment enthusiasts, or professional content creators to tweak the platform’s graphic capabilities for a richer, more personalized experience.1 Sales associates should let customers know that this tool helps them optimize their graphics to best fit their hardware’s capabilities.1
Intel® XTU provides over 140 tuning controls for processor clocks, memory timings, voltage settings, and more. PC users can monitor, stress, and overclock systems for optimum system performance configuration.1,2
Enthusiast customers can benefit from the interface exposing a set of robust capabilities common in most platforms of interest to them, while novice gamers have the benefit of Intel® XTU easily guiding them through the process to up their gaming.1
Intel® DTT has been used for more than 10 years and allows OEM and ODM system engineers to extract the highest performance from the Intel® processor by allowing the CPU to stay in higher power mode longer.1 They are able to customize power settings to intelligently adapt power policies based on usage mode and temperature. In turn, engineers are provided with machine learning algorithms to predict workload needs and make dynamic adjustments.
While this software download is only available to OEM/ODM system engineers, it is a vital tool used in the design and manufacturing of PCs powered by Intel® processors that are for sale in your stores.
Not every feature, benefit, or specification can fit on a fact tag. It’s important that your sales associates have a deep knowledge of all the underlying Intel® technologies that add so much to the customer experience.1
Intel® Adaptive technology is a great example. Associates aware of these free software tools—and which Intel® processors include them—have value to add to customer conversations. This can help inspire customers to not only update their older PCs, but also select a device of higher value.
Is your sales team continually fine-tuning their knowledge to keep up with new products and technology? If not, they are missing important information to share with your customers. Information that might be the difference in making a sale or not.
Intel has introduced a lot of new exciting processors and technologies this year, with more still to come. Make sure your associates are taking advantage of the training and community available with the Intel® Retail Edge Program. Doing so will give them the knowledge they need to create better customer experiences and more PC sales.
