Retailers “Score” Again in the Score with Intel® Core™ Competition

The Intel® Retail Edge Program recently wrapped up another wildly successful Score with Intel® Core™ competition. All of the 2016 winners have been rewarded, all of the winning schools have received their donations, and we are already working on next year’s competition. 

Each year, over 14,000 sales associates participate in the competition to vie for awesome prizes and rewards as they learn about Intel® products and technologies, OEM Partner devices, and sales tips to use with your customers.

This means:

  • More knowledgeable employees
  • Improved customer experiences
  • Increased capability to upsell and cross-sell premium products
  • Deeper understanding of new devices and technologies

Equally as meaningful to managers and competition participants is the opportunity to donate up to $25,000 to local K-12 schools. Over the last seven years, Intel—through Score with Intel® Core™— has donated over $2M to local K-12 schools.

At the recent awards ceremonies, we had the opportunity to hear from many of our valued retail partners about the positive impact Score with Intel® Core™ has on their employees, their stores, their leadership, and their communities.

Help Your Local Schools

Our annual Score with Intel® Core competition is a vital component of the Program and each year we are amazed at the gamesmanship of competitors and their desire to come out on top. 

We are also delighted to play a part in the community involvement efforts of our partner retailers through the donation of funds to their local K-12 schools. Over the years, we’ve heard so many incredible stories from managers who have had the pleasure of presenting these checks to winning schools.

More than 50,000 sales associates from more than 5,000 retail stores have participated in the Intel® Retail Edge Program. Encourage your sales staff to get involved and reap the rewards of their participation.
