Managers Only — An App Just for You!

Many sales associates who participate in the Intel® Retail Edge Program take advantage of the mobile app that allows them to learn and earn at Intel® Retail Manager Program manager appanytime from anywhere. Available for iPhone* and Android* users, 71 percent of participants active in the Program find the app useful1.

Our retail partners have indicated they would like an app unique to managers that allows them to access information on their stores and employees who participate in the Program. Good news! There’s an app for that and it will be available soon!

Quick and Easy Access to Employee Information

The My Team retail sales management app for the Intel® Retail Edge Program will help managers play an integral part in the training and motivation of their sales associates. Some of the features and capabilities available through the My Team app include:

  • Snapshot and drill-down views of sales associates registered in the Program and their completed number of Learning activities
  • Recommend specific Learning activities to associates
  • Refer associates to register for the Intel® Retail Edge Program
  • Access to the latest news and important dates
  • Resources and tools specific to managers
  • Award Chips to associates on-the-fly to keep them motivated to learn

We’ve learned over the years—and statistics show— that associates are more engaged and motivated to learn when management shows interest in, buys into, and supports their training efforts.

With the My Team app, managers quickly see how involved their associates are in the Intel® Retail Edge Program and learning about Intel® products and technologies and the devices they power.

The ability for managers to recommend targeted Learning activities to their associates is particularly useful when some team members need help in certain areas such as customer interactions, sales techniques, or computer components. Managers simply browse the Learning activities and mark the ones they want their associates to take.

This particular feature will also prove useful during critical sales cycles when managers want to ensure sales associates have a solid knowledge of Intel® products, devices, and technologies that are in their current inventory and in high demand by customers.

We understand the importance of management-level support on the success of sales associates. The goal of the My Team app is to further the efforts of managers in putting associates on the salesfloor who are knowledgeable about Intel® products, who can provide amazing customer experiences, and who can sell more devices.
