Discover the Retail Competition Helping Local Schools

6/30/15

Retail store managers are taking part in the Score with Intel® Core™ competition to help K-12 schools in their local communities receive a $25,000 technology donation. This year’s competition began June 15 and runs through August 17.

Presented by the Intel® Retail Edge Program, the annual Score with Intel® Core™ competition benefits retail stores and their local communities in two primary ways:

1. Retail sales representatives increase their product knowledge.

Retail sales representatives (RSPs) across the United States and Canada engage in Learning activities to find out about Intel® products and technologies and how devices using these technologies provide their customers with new experiences. Through participation, RSPs can win prizes as they learn.

To date, more than 50,000 RSPs from 5,000+ retail stores have taken part in this annual competition.

2. Local schools can receive up to a $25,000 donation.

Retail store managers nominate local K-12 schools to receive up to a $25,000 technology donation. Receiving this donation has proven to be transformative for winning schools. Managers, too, have the opportunity to win prizes.

Since Score with Intel® Core™ was launched in 2010, over $1.5 million has been given away to K-12 schools in the United States and Canada.

Distinguish Your Store From Your Competition

Customers are increasingly interested in a business’ stance on social responsibility. More and more people choose to spend their money at businesses taking an active part within the local community. Score with Intel® Core™ gives you and your sales representatives the opportunity to do just that.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to become more involved in your community by nominating local schools to receive up to $25,000. Participate in the competition and learn more about the year-round benefits of signing up for the Intel® Retail Edge Program.
